Our Farmers
We at Food Processors deliver the best, while enhancing farm productivity and ensuring food and nutritional security for our farmers. This has been build on the resilient relationship between our supply team and the network of farmers, vendors and suppliers.
Over the past 25 years, FPFL has continuously assisted me in affording my livelihood, I’m only one of the many beneficiaries from my small village. We are subsistence farmers, that mostly grow taro leaves but FPFL gave us an opportunity to earn a living off something we just did either as a hobby or as a need to survive.
Over 15 years, I have supplied Cassava and Dalo to the Food Processors, and they have supported me always. As a farmer, one is really uncertain of their income, however, having FPFL as one of our regular customers, there is a fixed amount of income that comes in with each harvest of my root crops. From the money generated from my engagement with FPFL, I have purchased farm implements, paid my workers, farm managers while maintaining my farm house and its surrounding areas amongst meeting my other personal obligations.
My 40 years of association with FPFL is quite a special one, over the years, the factory has helped me and my village as a whole; they have assisted us in buying the village boat (fiber), helped in building school, church and also support the village in any function or Soli we have throughout the year.
